Bring on the burgers! Burgers topped last week’s most popular recipe list along with those tried-and-true family favorites, meatloaf and apple dumplings.
It’s bacon heaven around here, too. The top nine—count ‘em!—nine bacon-wrapped chicken recipes made the list last week. All were featured in the June 1 Allrecipes newsletter. You can grill, roast or broil these easy, seasoned-with-bacon chicken recipes.
And I’d really like to be in the kitchen when the almond cupcakes and Boston Cream Pie are ready to eat. Did someone say buttercream frosting? Awesome!

“Chicken and dumplings” and “Country apple dumplings” were two of last week's fastest growing search terms based on external and internal searches, respectively.
Which videos did home cooks watch most often last week? Cottage Fries and Chef John’s Boston Cream Pie videos were stars of the screen! (Now how did a cake get named “pie”? I’ve got to research that one. I did discover it’s the official dessert of Massachusetts. Awesome!) Bacon was a video champ too, with Chef John’s easy Bacon-Ranch-Chicken Skewers the week’s third most popular video. That’s my kind of dinner!
